Overall Experience (reflects the collaboration of both critics): Everything about this restaurant was mediocre; from the food to the deco to the wait staff. There is no point reviewing the food; let’s just say it was on our plates. Our waitress hung around our table too much, giving us too much unrequested information. We understood she was trying to be friendly, but it was an overkill. The only thing we found positive about this restaurant were the freshly fried potato chips with parmesan cheese they give to tables while waiting for their food. They were hot, fresh, and really good!

Would we go back:  Never.

Suggested Improvements: Everything.

Overall Experience (reflects the collaboration of both critics):  I (Jack) had the ribeye steak. I know Jill is the one who usually orders the steaks, but this time I was just in the mood for beef. I ordered the steak well done and it was excellent; juicy, tender, and big. And of course that carnivore Jill just had to taste it. Once her lips wrapped around my succulent steak, I had to beat her off of it with a baseball bat! Just joking, but I could tell she wanted more and I wasn’t offering. Call me mean if you want to but that steak was mine! I (Jill) had the Bucatini. The meal basically consisted of crab and pasta. It was not good; bland and skimpy. How many times do we have to tell restaurants not to skimp on the pasta? Dang the stuff is cheap! Anyway I had very little pasta and the crab meat was almost none existent (3 or 4 small chunks). I’m not kidding. That dish was a waste of money and the time it took to chew it. On the brighter side, the owner of the restaurant was very nice, informative, and made us feel welcomed. After the meal, he approached our table and asked did we enjoy it. We raved about the steak, but I (Jill) didn’t have the heart to tell him my dish sucked. He was such a nice guy and anyone could see he is determined to make his restaurant a success. Though we didn’t tell him to his face that we didn’t like the crab-pasta dish, we hope that he reads this review and improves on the dish or get rid of it. Flavor and portion size are the name of the game. This restaurant only received a three (3) on the food category because of their bland pasta-crab dish. If Jill had ordered the steak too, they would have received a four (4), which would indicate an above average rating.

Would we go back? Yes we would! I (Jill) want that steak! The owner is wonderful and we enjoyed taking to him. We want his restaurant to be a success just as much as he does.

Suggested Improvements: Get rid of the pasta-crab dish. Serve another side with the steak. The turnips seemed to cheapen the quality of the meal and they were not good.
